We are seeking a dedicated individual with a proven track record in helpdesk environment with exceptional customer service excellence and administration skills. The successful candidate will provide clerical support to the Facilities Maintenance and Compliance unit, processing requests via telephone and email with professionalism and efficiency.
In this role, you will liaise with estates supervisors, managers, and contractors to ensure smooth daily operations, and support the wider Facilities Maintenance and Compliance team. You will offer specific advice within your area of expertise, prioritise job requests, and follow quick response procedures in urgent situations. Additionally, you will assist the Help Desk Supervisor in training new operatives, respond promptly to service users’ inquiries, and maintain a positive and empathetic attitude. Adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures is essential.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with specialist CAFM systems databases such as Concerto/Oracle Estates Asset Management (EAM) or similar facilities management systems is also required. You must have demonstrative skills of proven experience in a customer service environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer literacy. You must have excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, strong attention to detail, multitasking, and organisational abilities, and the ability to work calmly under high-stress situations.
You will report directly to the Help Desk Supervisor and work in an office-based environment, communicating regularly with both internal and external stakeholders. Flexibility to work outside normal hours when required is essential.
