About JIM

JIM Jobs in Manchester is a project born out of helping Manchester people displaced by Covid lock down to identify alternative options. Originally launched in 2021 as an extension to the MBH – Manchesters B2B Business Hub, it was decided to create a separate website for JIM Jobs in Manchester in 2023 and here we are now.

In October 2023 we passed our first significant milestone with over 500 application clicks having been made via JIM’s Job Board.

The JIM project was funded by Greenlight Computers Ltd and the website created and supported by Greenlight Web.

JIM for Employers

On an average day Indeed has 10,000+ job vacancies on its website in Manchester. It is hard for any job to be visible. JIM – Jobs in Manchester offers a showcase to make your job more visible to the local community, it is only for Manchester based jobs for Manchester based people.

JIM for Candidates

JIM is simply a showcase to make live Manchester based jobs with top employers visible to Manchester based people. You can make the website www.jobsinmcr.co.uk a bookmark or follow us on social media LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

History of JIM

2020 – JIM was initially created as a subsite of MBH during Covid to help people find new jobs.

2022 – JIM was no longer needed in its existing form and was rested but continued to gain followers.

2023 – JIM was spun out of MBH as a new self-contained website www.jobsinmcr.co.uk

2024 – Other cities are asking for a JIM, watch this space……..
