The role
You’ll track and manage the MAG Technology CAPEX spend of c.£60M in FY26, working in partnership with the Finance Department, Technology Project Delivery Leads and Technology Project Managers. You’ll manage, process and report on the monthly capitalisation of MAG’s resources and analyse project financials to provide oversight and reporting of the business plan ensuring audit requirements are met at all times. You’ll also line manage of 1-2 analysts, support project and programme resource planning and cost estimation, and facilitate the production of Board, ExCo and stakeholder presentations.
What will make you successful in the role?
You’ll have fantastic numeracy skills, proven experience in reading and analysing large data sets. You’ll have previous experience of working effectively in a PMO function, working with project management methodologies (Prince 2/MSP), as well as experience of resource and project planning (MS Project). You’ll be highly organised, with the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines at any one time, with experience of project governance and compliance and an understanding of audit principles and deadlines. You’ll have an excellent knowledge of Word and PowerPoint alongside an advanced experience and competence with Excel. An understanding of SAP and Service Now would be advantageous. You’ll be a brilliant problem solver, flexible in your approach and be a really great communicator with the ability to simplify and explain complex information to both Finance and Tech stakeholders.
