Chill Shift Lead

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager at our Manchester Trafford Park Site.

The purpose of the position is to enable the team to deliver targets and continuously improve performance by coaching and developing our people.

• Contract: Full time / Permanent
• Shift Pattern: – 4 on – 4 off (0600 – 1800 days)
• Location: Manchester Trafford Park (M17 1TU)

Warehouse Shift Manager Role & Responsibilities;

• Creating and delivering development plans.
• Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
• Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives.
• People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues.
• Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business.
• Deep knowledge of Operational Excellence , coaching team on use of the principles and tools.
• Creating and delivering development plans.
• Creating succession pathways both up through and across organisation .
• High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills.
• “go, look, see” issues by visiting the workstation when called upon .
• Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
• Encourages others to seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operational excellence projects
• Owns and delivers operational excellence initiatives and is recognised for these.
• Looks and encourages others to find “waste” opportunities in everything that we do.

Warehouse Shift Manager Key Skills & Experience:
