The role
As Car Parking Operations Manager, you will lead and inspire up to 16 Car Park Team Managers and a colleague population of nearly 300, ensuring the team are exceeding service standards and delivering excellence with drive and enthusiasm to put the customer first in a 24/7 operation. This includes, but is not limited to, the overseeing of training, development and performance management of all Car Park Operations colleagues. Other accountabilities will include:
- Management of all SLAs delivering operational performance excellence
- Set clear direction and focus for the Car Park Operations teams to ensure achievement of service performance standards
- Monitor car parks performance on a daily basis, utilising appropriate systems to analyse throughputs and demands, to aid planning and resource utilisation
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage innovation
- Manage all operational Health & Safety requirements (including risk assessments) and develop a safety focussed culture within the Car Park Operations teams
- Ensure operational resilience is maintained and Business Continuity plans are updated and maintained
What will make you successful in the role?
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate fantastic people leadership skills and experience with a real passion for motivating, developing and coaching your Team Managers. You will be operational performance and customer orientated, with an ability to work cross functionally across both business-as-usual and project workstreams. A natural problem solver, you will work well in a fast paced operations based environment with a sound commercial awareness.
