When it comes to appliances and electricals, we’ve got the lot. Washing machines? Yep. TVs? Check. Laptops? Absolutely. Everything except doorbells (just kidding, we’ve got those too).
Job Overview
About The Role
As a BI Developer, you’ll play a key role in turning data into insights that help shape decisions across the business. You’ll be part of the team driving our data strategy forward, making sure we’ve got the tools and processes in place to make smarter, faster choices.
We’re on an exciting journey right now, building new ways of working, introducing fresh tech, and creating a modern cloud-based data platform that sets us up for the future.
Day to day, you’ll be hands-on with prototyping solutions, building data models, reports, and visualisations, and bringing new data sets into our BI tools. You’ll work closely with our Data Platform and Engineering teams to make sure we’re meeting the growing demand for data across the company. Along the way, you’ll follow best practices, support your fellow BI developers, and help us keep improving as a team.
Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing
You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand what they need and make sure our solutions hit the mark. From designing clear, actionable visualisations to building and maintaining solid data models, you’ll help bring insights to life. You’ll play a big part in modernising our architecture, moving processes onto a cloud-based platform using best practices, while keeping everything documented and easy to follow. When issues or change requests pop up, you’ll tackle them quickly and keep things running smoothly. We’re always looking to improve, so you’ll help optimise performance, enhance BI processes, and make sure our reporting is efficient and scalable. Security and compliance are key, and you’ll stick to standards that keep our data safe. Plus, you’ll follow coding best practices to ensure everything we build is consistent, high-quality, and easy to maintain.
