Join us as a Digital Delivery Manager
- You’ll direct the delivery of large-scale digital programmes across our Supply Chain, taking ownership of initiatives that transform how we work and deliver meaningful business impact
- In this role, you’ll drive new propositions and capabilities from concept to completion, making sure every project meets our vision and standard for quality, timelines, and risk
- You’ll work at the intersection of strategy and delivery, gaining visibility across the organisation as you shape digital solutions that elevate user experience and transform Supply Chain operations
- You’ll spend at least two days a week in the office to coordinate resources and keep teams aligned
What you’ll do
As our Digital Delivery Manager, you’ll be at the heart of Supply Chain digital delivery, overseeing a prioritised domain backlog that improves user experiences and advances our domain strategy. You’ll take ownership of governance, risk, budgets and resources, aligning release schedules and resourcing and managing interdependencies so large-scale change lands smoothly.
Day-to-day, you’ll synchronise teams across domains and engage stakeholders through design, development, testing and implementation, with integration plans that turn ideas into features. You’ll report against OKRs and KPIs, act as the escalation point to remove blockers, and keep initiatives clearly aligned to the outcomes our users need.
You’ll play a key role in:
- Making sure compliance and governance standards are fully understood and followed, so every delivery meets risk, control, and policy requirements without compromise
- Building strong relationships across business areas to secure support for initiatives and maintain momentum toward agreed outcomes
- Partnering with Feature Teams to embed user experience into design and delivery, supporting prioritised backlogs and fostering collaboration for successful releases
- Driving continuous improvement across the domain by refining processes and introducing enhancements that elevate efficiency and user experience
The skills you’ll need
A Digital Delivery Manager sees the bigger picture and knows how to turn strategy into reality. You’ll work closely with IT teams, translating business needs into clear technical requirements that enable rapid, high‑quality delivery. You’ll define and implement a clear direction that helps Supply Chain envision future practices for its stakeholders and end users. You’ll also bring expertise in delivering complex programmes and initiatives through Agile practices across multiple teams.
You’ll understand the digital landscape inside out, from supply chain request channels and orchestration to colleague and supplier digital experiences. Combining deep technical knowledge and creative thinking, you’ll always prioritise simple, transparent user experiences. Whether you’re journey mapping or streamlining digital touchpoints, you’ll make sure every decision is grounded in insight and focused on impact.
Success in this role also calls for:
- Expertise in managing programme and project budgets, including building financial business cases, forecasting, and tracking delivery costs and benefits
- Advanced stakeholder engagement skills to maintain collaborative relationships across multiple teams, franchises, and Centres of Excellence
- Experience of delivering strategic digital programmes across a function
- Experience working with change frameworks and idea-to-value tools to guide transformation and make sure new initiatives deliver measurable benefits
- Strong communication and influencing skills to explain concepts clearly and drive alignment across colleagues at all levels
- Experience in driving continuous improvement and embedding customer experience in how we deliver the Supply Chain digital programmes
