An exciting opportunity has arisen on the British Association of Dermatologists Biologics and Immunomodulators Register (BADBIR; www.badbir.org) for a Clinical Research Fellow. BADBIR is a long-term pharmacovigilance register of psoriasis patients receiving biologic or conventional systemic therapies. Established in 2007 BADBIR has 23,500 patient registrations and is the world’s largest such registry project for psoriasis.
The Clinical Research Fellow will be tasked with completing academic research using data from BADBIR. The overarching objective is to submit an abstract to a conference and a journal by the end of the fellowship term.
The post would be especially suitable for aspiring or in-post dermatology specialist trainees wishing to gain out-of-programme experience in research or those trainees nearing the completion of training wishing to gain additional experience before taking up a consultant post.
Please note that this is being advertised as a full time research role however clinical time relevant to the project would be supported (for example one clinic per week in a specialty psoriasis clinics or similar).
