Key Responsibilities

We are seeking enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join our Catering & Hospitality team at Manchester United’s Carrington Training Ground.

This role supports hospitality and catering operations across the First Team, Women’s Team, and Academy buildings, delivering exceptional service to players, coaches, staff, visitors, and guests. You will help create a welcoming environment while ensuring the highest standards of food service, presentation, cleanliness, and customer care are consistently maintained.
As a casual team member, flexibility is required, with shifts available across weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends depending on operational needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to players, coaches, staff, visitors, and guests.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with agreed service standards.
  • Set up, maintain, and clear dining areas, hospitality spaces, meeting rooms, and refreshment stations.
  • Ensure all front of house areas are clean, presentable, and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Support hospitality events, meetings, and special functions across the training ground.
  • Replenish food, beverage, and service areas throughout service periods.
  • Work closely with kitchen and catering teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Follow all company policies relating to food safety, health & safety, and hygiene.
  • Assist with stock control, rotation, and operational preparation as required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Support colleagues across multiple areas and buildings when required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous hospitality, catering, retail, or customer-facing experience is desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Full UK driving licence or the ability to travel independently to Carrington Training Ground and associated sites.
  • Ability to remain professional and maintain confidentiality within an elite sporting environment.
