The Carbon Hero award is an initiative by Mpostcode Business Hub (MBH) to recognise and celebrate Manchester based businesses who have made a clear effort to reduce their carbon footprint.
MBH are always keen to support any business trying to help the UK reach its Net Zero target and we have seen our award winners gain huge social media exposure from the carbon hero award. The record reach so far is in excess of 50,000 views which hopefully helped them gain new traction for the business.

The MBH team originally created JIM (Jobs in Manchester) as a job board to help the redeployment of staff from its member businesses during the Covid crisis. The job board was used effectively during this period and in 2023 JIM graduated to become a business in its own right, leaving MBH to focus on new innovations for its members.
As a locally focussed Manchester job board the JIM visitor traffic is growing rapidly and it’s an ideal way to make the MBH Carbon Heroes award visible to a wider audience.
