When it comes to appliances and electricals, we’ve got the lot. Washing machines? Yep. TVs? Check. Laptops? Absolutely. Everything except doorbells (just kidding, we’ve got those too).
Job Overview
About The Role
We’re looking for a detailed orientated FP&A Analyst who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the numbers that really matter. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of our business—digging into data, building smart forecasting models, and turning insights into actions that help teams make better decisions every day.
You’ll be the go-to person for understanding what’s driving performance, spotting trends, and helping shape the way we plan and operate. If you’re someone who enjoys solving problems, asking the right questions, and making data feel less daunting, we’d love to have you on board.
We believe our people are our superpower. That’s why we’re all in, together, five days a week onsite—because creativity, collaboration, and growth thrive when we’re face-to-face. If a £1 bet in a pub between two mates can become the UK’s most trusted electrical retailer, just imagine what we can do next.
Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Produce weekly reports with input from all business areas
- Build forecasting models demonstrating current and expected performance
- Develop financial models and analysis to support strategies
- Support the leadership team with analysis and strategic planning
- Manage and develop a suite of KPI reports and dashboards
- Analyse budget, forecasts and deeper analysis of trends
- Drive improvement throughout the P&L, challenging key metrics and areas of opportunity
- Monitoring and forecasting marketing and sales trends
- Highlight performance vs market
- Gather data on consumers, competitors, and markets
- Conduct ad hoc research on specific market conditions
A Few Things About You
- Currently studying (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) or keen to start
- Experience of working in a FP&A/finance role with knowledge of financial statements, (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow).
- Microsoft Excel skills – including formulas and PivotTables. Power Query an advantage!
