The role

 

We are currently recruiting for a Lounge Host to join our Aether Hospitality Team. Aether provides our guests with the very best start to their journey.

 

Duties will include:

 

  • Provide a meet and greet service to Aether guests, dealing courteously and efficiently to ensure a world class level of customer service.
  • Ensure Lounge facilities are maintained to a high standard and consistently presented in line with the Standards of Operations, carrying out the required Daily, Weekly and Monthly standards check.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in according to the product directions and in accordance with the alcohol licence.
  • Ensuring guests abide by airline regulations (e.g. cabin and hold baggage allowances) at all times.
  • Liaising with airlines, handling agents and the Single Provider Team to arrange the hand off of guests and their bags.
  • Explaining all aspects of the Aether journey to guests including preparing them for security screening.
  • Assist with clearing and organising the Aether lounge ensuring a high standard of hygiene in the preparation, service and guest areas.
  • Maintain stock levels, date and rotation of the hot and cold beverage service in the aether lounge.
  • Perform kitchen duties including but are not limited to, restocking of food & beverages in the lounge, clearing tables, loading/unloading the dishwasher, rotating stock, and keeping the kitchen and lounges clean and tidy and reception duties.

 

 

What will make you successful in the role?

 

  • A solid background in hospitality and service sectors, with a proven track record of high end delivery
  • A team player with an absolute first class approach to customer service
  • Experienced in and with demonstrable examples of flexibility across long shifts
  • Computer literate on mainstream PC applications including Microsoft office
  • Experience of working on own initiative, capable of building solid and beneficial relationships both internally and externally
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old to comply with our alcohol service policy.
  • Understand food hygiene responsibilities (will be trained to level 1)

 

 

Please note flexibility is required as early shifts can start as early as 3.30am and late shifts can finish as late as 10.00pm. Aether is open 7 days a week.
