• Operations Host (Aether Private Terminal)
• Based at Manchester Airport
• Part time (30 Hours per week) mix of early and late shifts – earliest start time from 3:30am with latest shifts finishing at 22:30pm
• Permanent contract
• £26,448.61 pro rata (plus 17.5% shift allowance)

About the role:
The role of Host (Operations) is multiskilled and varied. You will be interacting with our guests from kerb to gate and gate to kerb, including check-in, baggage, security, and chauffeuring duties, collaborating with stakeholders such as control authorities, to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and the public.
Duties include:
• Carry out a multi-stage Aether check in process.
• Checking travel documents, dangerous goods and tagging hold luggage in accordance with individual airline Standard Operating Procedures.
• Screening and searching of intending passengers and luggage using x-ray equipment and body scanner.
• Provide a chauffeuring service to ensure the safe transportation of guests and belongings / luggage to and from gate or hand off point in accordance with airside driving standards and gate protocols (training will be provided)
• Working with our baggage handling service partner, transporting and hand off of hold luggage in accordance with individual airline Standard Operating Procedures.
• Presentation of international arriving guests and baggage for Border Force verification.
• Undertake patrols by foot or vehicle of airport premises and periphery
• Cleaning, refuelling and conducting physical searches of vehicles between movements
• Covering Front of House as required to ensure continuity of the operation and service delivery

What will make you successful in the role?
No previous security knowledge required as full training will be provided together with on-the-job coaching, however you do need to be able to:
• Demonstrate outstanding experience in a customer focused environment
• A focus on attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team or unsupervised
• Hold a clean & valid UK Driving Licence
• Good Numerical and Literacy skills
• Have colour perfect vision
• A second language would be advantageous in order to communicate with a wide range of customers, but not essential
• Have resided continually in the UK for the last three years to be able to obtain Counter Terrorism Clearance
