The role

This role will provide support to the F&A Finance Manager who is responsible for leading all Management Accounting activity for a Group Division ensuring that accurate, technically robust managements accounts are produced in a timely manner and in line with group finance service levels.

Accountabilities will include

  • Assist in the month end close process, ensuring the ledgers are all closed to strict deadlines.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounts, calculate and post relevant journals to ensure the accounts are reflective of underlying financial performance.
  • Ensure that all balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support the development of continuous improvement initiatives within the F&A team

What will make you successful in the role?

  • An ambitious individual and team player with a “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to actively engage business stakeholders and to respond to queries in a collaborative manner.
  • Preferably experience of SAP or similar ERP systems, good to intermediate Excel skills.
  • This role will come with full study support for a professional finance qualification
