The role

In this role you’ll lead the delivery of service for Manchester Airports landside operation, including forecourt management, traffic management, call centre operations and 3rd party stakeholder relations (e.g. MCC, National Highways, Network Rail, Hackney Carriages, Metrolink and Surface Transport operators). You’ll contribute to the development of the long-term strategy for the business, in particular landside operations asset, technology and product development, and lead the operation, development and continuous improvement across the Landside operation. You’ll also ensure all aspects of the Landside operation are carried out safely, efficiently and in a way that proactively improves performance & the customer experience, whilst providing input into the Planning & Insights team in order to support the development of landside operational planning.

What will make you successful in the role?

We are looking for someone with experience of leading large teams and managing disruption and incident recovery in a busy and high pressure environment. You’ll be a strong communicator with experience dealing with external stakeholders, including regulatory and commercial. You’ll also have experience identifying and creating key data, analysing trends and performance accordingly and putting in place appropriate measures and plans to manage performance and guest experience.
