- Mixture of earlies (7:00-15:10) and lates (11:00-19:10)

The role
As a Motor Transport Technician, you’ll work as part of our friendly and supportive Motor Transport Team to inspect, service, diagnose, repair and maintain Customer’s vehicles, Ground Support Equipment, Plant and Fixed Assets in accordance with relevant safety, legislative, quality, cost ceilings, performance standards and KPIs set by the Business.
You’ll need to prioritise your work to ensure equipment is available to customers in line with availability standards and requirements and complete all relevant paperwork. There are regular opportunities for further training and qualifications within the Motor Transport Team, providing technicians with the knowledge and tools required to deliver the quality service they pride themselves on within the agree timelines.
What will make you successful in the role?
- Workshop experience within the motor trade
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a BTEC National Certificate in Vehicle Repair & Technology
- Experience using servicing and maintenance tools and equipment
- Experience working on light vehicles, heavy vehicles, or ground service equipment
- Willingness to develop skills across all asset types (training provided where required)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- HGV, PCV or Fork Lift Truck licence (advantageous)
- Strong team player with effective communication skills
- Ability to work confidently with colleagues, managers, contractors and customers
- Comfortable using technology, including diagnostic equipment and digital documentation systems
