The role
As a Motor Transport Technician, you’ll work as part of our friendly and supportive Motor Transport Team to inspect, service, diagnose, repair and maintain Customer’s vehicles, Ground Support Equipment, Plant and Fixed Assets in accordance with relevant safety, legislative, quality, cost ceilings, performance standards and KPIs set by the Business. You’ll need to prioritise your work to ensure equipment is available to customers in line with availability standards and requirements and complete all relevant paperwork. There are regular opportunities for further training and qualifications within the Motor Transport Team, providing technicians with the knowledge and tools required to deliver the quality service they pride themselves on within the agree timelines.

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience in the motor trade along with either an NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a BTEC National Certificate in Vehicle Repair & Technology. You’ll need experience in servicing and maintenance tools and equipment working on either light or heavy vehicles or ground service equipment.
