About the role (Passenger Security):

As a Security Duty Manager, you will oversee terminal security operations by leading a team of around 10 Security Team Managers. Your goal is to ensure compliance, safety, and high performance in passenger security operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will also be responsible for promoting colleague engagement within the security operation, providing support and motivation to maintain the required service levels.
As a fully trained threat assessor, you will collaborate with Airport Duty Managers following established processes and escalation routes.

Rosters: 

4 on 4 off Early & Day roster
4 on 4 off Lates & Nights roster

 Your operational areas will include:

  • Central Search Areas
  • Additional passenger security areas
  • Staff Channels
  • Service Yards
  • Transfer/Transit processes

About the role (Airport Security): 

As the Security Duty Manager for Airport security, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective, efficient, and compliant operation of the terminal’s security 24/7.

As a fully trained threat assessor, you will work closely with Airport Duty Managers and other Security Duty Managers, following established processes and escalation routes.

Rosters: 

4 on 4 off rotating days & nights

Your operational areas will include:

  • airport security, staff channels, service yards in terminals)
  • Security patrol team
  • aether security operations

What will make you successful: 

The successful candidate will have experience in managing large, complex operational functions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with strong decision-making and analytical skills. They will be accountable, with experience in embedding change and new ways of working, as well as stakeholder management. Experience working with trade unions is also required. The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license with no more than 3 points.

Due to the nature of this role candidates must have resided in the UK for the past 3 years.
