The role
- Act as a single point of contact for all internal and external customers; taking requests for all repair work, recording all relevant details on corporate systems in an accurate and timely manner, identifying the correct response department/group and issuing works orders/requests as appropriate.
- Dispatching of planned and reactive work orders utilising Manchester Airport resources and 3rd party Contractors.
- Provide feedback to customers on works carried out giving current status and expected completion dates as advised.
- Actively monitor asset information systems across site, identifying faults and instigating corrective actions as appropriate, and updating MAG information systems in a timely manner.
- Providing excellent customer service when dealing with internal and external enquiry calls.
- Reacting to lift alarms ensuring passengers are safe and where needed, escalate faults to relevant departments.
- Provide information as required using the corporate systems for insurance claims and any aircraft delays.
- Ensure that for a range of assets, all active planned works are short term planned and scheduled in order to deliver operational availability targets at optimum cost.
- Any other duties contributing to the component need of the engineering management and administrative functions.
- Ensure the capture of correct and accurate work data in order that efficient and cost-effective active work plans can be planned and scheduled.
- Analyse and interpret data from Maximo in order to schedule existing work plans and plan and schedule work orders in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Any ad hoc reporting as required.
What will make you successful in the role?
- Experience scheduling, prioritising, organising to ensure results are successfully delivered.
- Ability to manage self.
- Ability to work in partnership with multiple users to improve engineering standards & delivery.
- Enthusiastic and motivated, focusing on achieving results and a standard of excellence.
- Computer literate in word processing and spreadsheet development, compilation and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of the airport
- Experience using Maximo
- Call centre or customer service experience
