The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Broadcasting Manager on a casual basis to oversee the live broadcast operations at Manchester United. This role involves ensuring high-quality transmission of matches, managing media teams, and coordinating with external broadcasters to deliver a seamless viewing experience for fans worldwide.

  • Oversee live broadcast operations during matchdays, ensuring smooth transmission to TV and streaming platforms.
  • Coordinate with external broadcasters, production teams, and technical staff to set up and manage broadcast equipment.
  • Monitor live feeds and troubleshoot any technical issues to ensure uninterrupted broadcasts.
  • Manage media rights and ensure all content complies with broadcasting regulations.
  • Work closely with the stadium’s operations team to ensure the best setup for broadcasting, including camera placement and technical requirements.
  • Ensure proper media accreditation and logistics for broadcasters, journalists, and camera crews.
  •  Working hours will be flexible, including weekend work, two days prior to and one day following a match.

The Person:

  • Previous experience in live sports broadcasting or technical operations.
  • Strong knowledge of broadcast equipment, software, and technical setups.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure during live events.
  • Knowledge of Premier League Section K and UEFA regulations – desirable
