Main duties of the job

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Band 5 Nurse to join our Treatment Rooms service.

The Treatment Rooms Service is available to all non-housebound north Manchester adult residents who have a nursing need . This includes wound care (with often quite complex wounds and patients); non-complex lymphoedema/leg ulcer/podiatry management; catheter management; stoma management; administration of injections and management of wounds post-surgery.This is an exciting time to be part of our newly integrated services supporting the service lead and matron in taking the services forward to ensure that care is delivered to the highest of standards. We work closely alongside other community services such as the Lymphoedema, District Nursing, Leg Ulcer, Tissue Viability and podiatry services and you will need to develop positive working relationships with those services.As well as bringing your clinical expertise, you will be a champion of the integrated community care approach, a strong team player and an excellent communicator. You will be adaptable, committed, well organised and able to work well under pressure. You must be able to travel around various community locations delivering care.
