Wigan Secondary School – £500-£550 per week – Full-Time

A well-regarded secondary school in Wigan is seeking a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term Graduate Teaching Assistant role offering excellent experience across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The Role – Graduate Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students across a range of subjects, with a particular focus on core areas such as Maths, English, and Science. You will work closely with teachers to deliver targeted academic support through in-class assistance, small-group interventions, and 1:1 mentoring.
Your role will involve helping pupils understand key concepts, reinforcing learning, and supporting students who require additional guidance to stay on track academically. You will also play a key role in building students’ confidence and engagement in lessons.
This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching or education, providing hands-on experience in a supportive school environment.
