Description

We are looking for an outstanding Head of Credit and Collections – EMEA & APAC to lead our global Accounts Receivable (AR) Hub, overseeing an annual live ledger of over €250 million per month and driving a targeted plan to reduce bad debt across global operations.

Based within the Area Support Office within Radisson Blu Manchester Airport, a core priority for this role is to lead and execute a comprehensive bad debt reduction strategy across all regions. This includes identifying root causes, optimizing risk controls and working cross-functionally with Operations, Business Development, Finance, Legal and Compliance, and General Managers to remediate critical situations, improve credit practices and reduce exposure. The successful candidate will bring a data-driven mindset, strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate insights into proactive, scalable solutions that protect cash flow and enhance financial performance

Your Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic Oversight

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing international team of 14 FTEs across multiple regions.
  • Collaborate across all regions including NOWE, CESEE, MEA, SEAP, CN, and SAS.
  • Set and deliver KPIs aligned with RHG’s commercial and financial goals.
  • Ensure consistent application of credit control policies across all hotels and partners.

Credit & Collections Operations

  • Oversee AR functions for leased, managed, and franchised hotels as well as key third-party partnerships.
  • Manage global collection strategies, including e-commerce fees and agency commissions.
  • Own and drive the global credit policy, enforce credit limits, and ensure effective cash application.

Process Innovation & Risk Management

  • Design and lead scalable, automated AR processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Serve as a core member of the Global Risk Management Committee.
  • Implement internal audit actions and align with compliance, governance, and finance excellence standards.

Business Partnering & Financial Reporting

  • Provide expert guidance to stakeholders including Sales, Area Finance, and Business Development.
  • Deliver key insights to CFOs, COOs, and senior leadership through robust monthly reporting.
  • Prepare credit waivers, payment plans, and ensure financial accuracy in line with Delegation of Authority (DOA).

Tools & Technology

  • Enhance BI dashboards and reporting tools to support data-led decision-making.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve team efficiency and AR accuracy.
  • Collaborate with BPO and internal tech teams on Order-to-Cash (OTC) process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leader with global experience in credit control and collections.
  • Strong analytical thinker with deep financial acumen and operational rigour.
  • Passionate about process optimisation, standardisation, and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk, drive compliance, and influence across senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working across EMEA and APAC markets with an understanding of multi-currency and regulatory environments.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to leadership; developing people, solving challenges, and delivering results.

What Success Looks Like

  • Improved cash collection and reduced Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
  • Standardised and automated AR processes globally
  • High team engagement and development
  • Strong audit compliance and reduced bad debt
  • Trusted business partner to finance and commercial leaders
