Overall Purpose of the Job:
The aim of the role is to develop and deliver integrated and effective Research Services (RS) to service users that maximises our ability to attract researchers and research income, undertake high quality research, and exploit research outcomes. The post holder will work with a team of colleagues to maintain a high standard of service delivery to academic and other service users.
The post holder will work closely with Faculty RS Operations Managers, Heads of Departments, the Heads of Research, Deputy School Operations Managers, Faculty Research Finance Manager, and other academic and professional support services colleagues as necessary, to support the development of research activity and other externally funded projects in the broadest sense.
Research Support Managers report directly to the RS Operations Manager and work flexibly as part of the wider RS delivery team
