Overall Purpose

To lead and deliver an accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll service across UK and international payrolls, providing subject matter expertise and operational oversight for payroll processing, reporting, system testing, and audit activity. The role drives continuous improvement while coaching and developing payroll colleagues to build strong professional judgement, resilience, and problem-solving capability. It delivers payroll with a strong employee centred mindset across the full employee lifecycle and works collaboratively with HR, Finance, People Operations, IT, and external providers to support organisational objectives and the success of wider People services.
