The role
As the Product Manager – Finance & Procurement you’ll own a technical product area end to end, and lead a team of product owners, solution architects and business analysts. You’ll be helping to solve problems for our business by identifying processes, data, technology and people requirements to digitise our passenger journey, improve aircraft turnaround times, optimize colleague experiences and drive efficiencies across our group. You’ll build and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders and operational colleagues across the group in order to obtain a deep understanding of operational needs and challenges, and you’ll also work closely with other Product and Platforms teams and key members of the airport operation. You’ll manage stakeholders from a product development perspective, including agreement of product backlog, definition of minimum viable products, and agreement of changes within this during a project. You’ll also define the business benefits for the products and solutions to inform the business cases – and will track those benefits through the lifecycle of the product – even as projects come and go.

What will make you successful?
You’ll have a strong understanding of product development, roadmap building and prioritisation techniques – including an understanding of agile and waterfall ways of working. You’ll be commercially astute, ambitious, an effective communicator and a highly innovative leader, driven and passionate about product development and all things airport operation and back-office tech. You’ll also have experience of blending technical products into an operational context, understanding how people, process and technology align. For this particular role, you’ll be across the Finance & Procurement Tower and ideally you’ll have at least 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager or as a functional leader with Finance ERP platforms SAP ECC & S/4 HANA, as well as Ariba / Blackline being advantageous. You’ll have an excellent knowledge and understanding of Finance & Procurement domains gained either from a tech perspective or from a Finance background.
