Role Purpose

Working to support the Operations department, working alongside the Operations Supervisor on a day-to-day basis. To complete flight preparation & editing. Load sheet production, flight finalisation. Recording accurate information in RSMS & Chroma. Use of available communication devices such as Ground to Air & PDA’s. Attend daily conference calls as required, cover shortfalls in Dispatch Operation. This position is key to our succession planning for the Operations Department & the successful candidate would be expected to cover the Supervisor position during periods of unplanned absence.

What you will be doing

  • To assist in the management of the department and associated duties, whilst staying compliant with all standard operating procedures, policies, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • To work with Operations Supervisor and all departmental heads to ensure high performance and standards from all areas
  • To support the Operations Supervisor in ensuring that all Service Level agreements are understood and adhered to by the TCO team and maintained.
  • Effectively liaise, communicate, and consult with the customer airline(s), third party handlers, airport authority and operational staff as required in support of the Operations Supervisor.
  • To comply with the Companies safe practices for example (MORSE / SMART), policies and standards are adhered to and maintained.
  • Work in support of the Operations Supervisor with forward planning, staffing levels and making sure operational requirements are met

What we are looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years (and/or) Dispatch / TCO / Operational experience in an aviation environment.
  • Altea Weight & Balance competency & or similar Weight & Balance system (essential)
  • RSMS experience (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to converse with Management, Airlines, MAG and, Policing Authorities in a confident and professional manner.
