Join us as a Product Manager in Financial Institutions Payments

 

  • We’re looking for an analytical thinker who can research insights, execute testing strategies and validate customer training material
  • You’ll be accountable for the Financial Institutions (FI) Payments proposition across Correspondent Banking, Indirect Access and SWIFT Settlements Services (e.g. CREST, CLS, LIPS)
  • You’ll be making sure appropriate data is collected to generate insights that will be used to design and develop our products
  • This is an opportunity for you to make your mark on the future of the products and services we offer
  • You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend a significant amount of time working from the London or Manchester office

 

What you’ll do

 

We’re looking for a true leader who wants to take full ownership of their role. You’ll demonstrate this by delivering new and enhanced products across all categories while keeping an eye on regulation and legislative requirements. This will be a constant, whether you’re leading the department’s input to our change initiatives and projects or executing the implementation of key products.

 

You’ll also be:

 

  • Acting as a subject matter expert an team lead covering Correspondent Banking, cross-border GBP and EUR clearing, settlement flows and SWIFT communication channels
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to the customer experience
  • Driving efficiencies and clarity in processes relating to onboarding and in life management of FI payment products e.g. billing, fees and charges, reporting, pricing strategy
  • Building a culture of continuous improvement, implementing changes, improving efficiency and driving down costs
  • Generating and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders

 

The skills you’ll need

 

This role requires a proven and capable  leader who can  effectively manage projects and teams. You’ll need to know about driving customer value, meeting deadlines, operating within strict budgeting constraints and demonstrating your strategic talents. Your communication skills need to be excellent and you’ll have a commitment to success in everything you do.

 

You’ll also be expected to have:

 

  • Deep technical understanding of SWIFT FIN standards, ISO 20022, CBPR+ and global correspondent banking flows. You will also need to have a good business knowledge of the Indirect Access proposition and settlement services
  • The ability to interpret FI customer technical requirements and articulate impacts to internal platforms and payment engines
  • Proven success in strategic development and execution and the design and development of products
  • The ability to develop people and build skills and capability across a team
  • The ability to manage stakeholders and develop strong relationships at all levels
