Job description

Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Pay: £103.95 – £110 per day
Job Type: Full-time / Term-time (Immediate or upcoming start)

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons while helping students reach their full potential. You will work closely with pupils across different ability levels, providing both academic and pastoral support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities

  • Work with small groups of pupils or on a one-to-one basis

  • Help students who may need additional support with their learning

  • Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation

  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

  • Support pupils with special educational needs where required

The Ideal Candidate

  • A recent graduate (any subject considered)

  • Passionate about education and supporting young people

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient, proactive, and adaptable

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
