CONTRACT TYPE: 9 Month Full-time / Fixed-term.
DEPARTMENT: BBC Childrens & Education, CBeebies
LOCATION: Salford
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £25,700 – £32,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

JOB PURPOSE
We’re looking for a social media coordinator to join the BBC Children’s & Education team, to work across our CBeebies and CBeebies Parenting accounts. You’ll create social-first video and image content with strategic vision, support a team of Social Media Executives managing campaigns and assist in scheduling and publishing content across our platforms.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND IMPACT
- Create social first content that engages a parental audience
- Support Social Media Executives with campaign planning and idea generation
- Schedule and publish content across social platforms
- Keep abreast of current trends and developments on social platforms
 YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE – KEY CRITERIA
Essential criteria
- Experience using social platforms in a professional capacity
- An understanding of what makes the most engaging social content
- Proficient editing skills using Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Premiere Pro)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to prioritise workload and work across multiple projects at once
Desirable Criteria
- An understanding of social analytics and how to interpret data
- Experience assisting on shoots and filming would be beneficial
- Adobe After Effects experience would be beneficial
