LOCATION: Salford

PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £25,700 – £32,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

BBC EXTEND

JOB PURPOSE

We’re looking for a social media coordinator to join the BBC Children’s & Education team, to work across our CBeebies and CBeebies Parenting accounts. You’ll create social-first video and image content with strategic vision, support a team of Social Media Executives managing campaigns and assist in scheduling and publishing content across our platforms.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND IMPACT

  • Create social first content that engages a parental audience
  • Support Social Media Executives with campaign planning and idea generation
  • Schedule and publish content across social platforms
  • Keep abreast of current trends and developments on social platforms

 YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE – KEY CRITERIA

Essential criteria

  • Experience using social platforms in a professional capacity
  • An understanding of what makes the most engaging social content
  • Proficient editing skills using Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Premiere Pro)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise workload and work across multiple projects at once

Desirable Criteria

  • An understanding of social analytics and how to interpret data
  • Experience assisting on shoots and filming would be beneficial
  • Adobe After Effects experience would be beneficial
