• Play a key role in planning and delivering major sporting events (including the Olympic Games, World Cup and Wimbledon), supporting complex, high-profile productions
• Partner closely with production teams to advise on workflows, technical solutions and broadcast planning, assessing feasibility, risks and cost implications
• Ensure safe and compliant delivery of OBs, leading on risk management and adherence to BBC Health & Safety standards and industry regulations
• Drive innovation across OB and digital workflows, leading on connectivity and transmission solutions while contributing to long-term technical strategy with BBC Technology

• Strong outside broadcast engineering knowledge with experience of working as a technical producer on site.
• Outstanding operational awareness and judgement.
• Excellent communication skills and able to effectively lead teams.
• Good knowledge of connectivity systems and differing types of codec choices and their configurations.
