The Role:
Working within one of our hospitality suites or box areas, you will be responsible for welcoming guests on matchdays. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating stellar first impressions and delivering outstanding service to ensure each matchday is a unique and memorable experience.
This role requires a friendly, confident, proactive, and warm personality, with the ability to engage with a wide range of people. Candidates must be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive at the football club, providing a warm and friendly welcome.
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and escort them to their tables or designated areas.
- Compliance with the in-house training regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the host/hostess station and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with other team members, including servers, bartenders, and managers, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
- Assist with other aspects of service once guests are seated: working the room, running of drinks, and clearing of plates.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Uphold the football club’s standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times and follow all outlined club policies.
- Provide information about the football club, including upcoming matches, events, and facilities.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for football and knowledge of the sport is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
