Your Role
At TfGM, we’re working to improve lives by connecting people and places across Greater Manchester.
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you’ll join our Partnerships, Engagement and Inclusion (PEI) team, helping us work with communities, businesses and stakeholders to shape transport services and policies.
This is a great opportunity to start your career while gaining a nationally recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, alongside hands on experience in a fast paced public sector environment.
You don’t need previous experience we’re looking for people with a willingness to learn and a positive approach to developing new skills.

Who are we?
At TfGM, our purpose is to improve lives by connecting people and places across Greater Manchester.
The PEI team brings together three connected specialisms: People and Place, Business Engagement, and Consultation and Inclusion. The apprentice will work across all three areas, gaining a broad understanding of how TfGM engages with communities, representative and lived experience groups, businesses and stakeholders to inform inclusive decisionmaking.

You will have:
- Have an interest in public services and making a difference to communities, especially how transport supports people’s daily lives
- Can communicate clearly and are willing to ask questions, share ideas and help solve problems
- Are motivated to learn and develop yourself, both in the role and through your apprenticeship
- Enjoy working with others as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals
- Show initiative and are willing to take ownership of tasks, with support from your team
- It is desirable, though not essential, that you have achieved GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. If you do not currently hold these qualifications, you must be willing to study Functional Skills alongside the apprenticeship.

This is an 18 month fixed term role with a starting salary of £26,532 per annum
