Job summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented administrator to support incident management within MFT’s Local Risk Management System(Ulysses). The successful candidate will be responsible for administrating incident reporting forms, managing and merging electronic incidentrecords into the main Ulysses database, and updating and supporting with administrative process in other Ulysses modules and also support withother departmental databases as required. This role is vital in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and responsiveness of our incident reportingprocesses, supporting patient safety and governance across the Trust.

 

Main duties of the job

The role involves supporting the administering of incidents within the local risk management system, ensuring all key administrative tasks arecompleted with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include merging incidents, reviewing data fields for integrity, and addressing any dataissues by liaising with Clinical Groups. The post holder will support the administrating of the Ulysses system and its modules, support updates and changes with in, and play a key role in monitoring data accuracy. Regular data extractions and quality assurance reporting are also required.

Additionally, the role includes coordinating the Risk Systems email inbox, supporting queries and system amendments, and assisting the SeniorRisk and Patient Safety Administrator with external incident processes. Teamwork is essential, as is proactive problem-solving and effectivecommunication. The post holder will perform data entry and retrieval from other core clinical systems, such as Hive, and is expected to useinitiative to maximise efficiency within the team.

Essential

  • General Education to GCSE standard Knowledge and training to National Vocational Level 3 or equivalent Willingness to undergo further training and development

  • Knowledge and experience of administrative procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Understand the need for confidentiality An understanding of medical terminology
